because ireki's parents will move to work in the city...ireki and ryoka are separated...5 years have passed...ireki has now graduated from school and is preparing for the university entrance exam..

while studying...ireki sees childhood photos of ireki playing with ryoka in the summer...ireki smiles and has plans for a summer vacation in the village and a reunion with ryoka..
